I posted the Ten Laws of Primal Living a while back that was an overview of the aspects that go into primal living. Here are those ten laws for a little refresher.

But primal living, to me, is more than these ten laws. Primal living is being connected to the earth, the sky, and all living creatures – including yourself. These connections are the most important thing we have in this life.

Primal living means eating what comes from the earth – plants, animals, nuts, and seeds.

Primal living means moving your body and then allowing it to rest to recuperate, it means acknowledging your circadian rhythm and aligning to it the rising and setting of the sun. Did you know that we’re actually supposed to sleep more in the winter?

Primal living means actively engaging with the people around you, silencing your phone, and being present with the humans in the room. Encouraging those people, supporting them, uplifting them, and then acknowledging and appreciating them when they do the same for you.

Primal living means slowing down and allowing yourself to just be every once in a while, connecting your breath with your mind, and enjoying the feeling of your belly rising and falling with oxygen flowing through.

A little over six months ago, I set out to become a primal health coach. I was excited about incorporating a primal lifestyle and I wanted to help others live this primal lifestyle. Just a few short days ago, I finished my course and got my certificate. I was so excited to finally officially launch my business.

As a health coach, I want to help you discover these connections – to the earth, to those around you, and to yourself. If you’re interested in learning more about primal living, please don’t hesitate to reach out, I could chat about my new lifestyle all day long!
